Dodo Pakshi Ki Kahaani - डोडो पक्षी की कहानी Animation and Video Activities has specially been for students especially at primary level. This video comprises the famous Dodo which has now become extinct due to the Dutch long years back. with interesting and exciting exercises (such as comprehension multiple choice questions, fill in the blanks, etc...) by a dynamic team consisting of Project Coordinators 1. Dr Vinaye GOODARY 2. Dr Arvind BISSESSUR and Video Animation, Sound Editing and Mixing - Vivek BINDA. Other stakeholders have also helped in realising this masterpiece which kids are really appreciating with the feedback received. This video was broadcasted on MBC (Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation) during the curfew period and where the Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology of Mauritius requested educators to produce E-content for Teaching and Learning via TV channel programmes to ensure continuity of Education of students.
You, as parents, may connect to my YouTube channel and leave this video play and let your children learn at their own pace Hindi. They will surely enjoy it. The animation, graphics, sound, etc.. used are child friendly and they will learn quickly compared to if they would done it via traditional book method. As we say "A Picture is Worth Thousand Word", hence this video demonstrates it.

Sometimes, it happens we have an idea in mind but due to lack of technical knowledge (use of softwares and creative approach), we stay limited to our textbooks. E-Gufaa will feature E-contents in Hindi in form of videos, PDFs, word, Powerpoint Presentations, interactive games and others. E-contents may vary from Hindi Alphabet writing practice, masculine and feminine, Nouns, Pronouns, Adjectives, Singular and Plural, Conjunctions, Image recognition, Verb and tenses, prepositions, idioms, simple sentence making, tracing works, kids activities, interactive games, etc…. Egyaan Interactive Ebook is specially targeted for slow learners (basic learners of Hindi language) especially kids in lower Primary Grade. It consists of various topics such as Prayers, Alphabets. Numbers, Vegetables, Fruits, Days of week, Season, Colors, songs, etc... It is accompanied by audio to help learners not only see the content on screen but also. The voice is that of DR Anjalee Chintamunnee, Senior lecturer at MGI (Mauritius).

This video is a unique Interactive Multimedia CD ‘Bhojpuri Sikha’ - ‘भोजपुरी सीखऽ‘ in Bhojpuri language. Along with this Multimedia CD, a textbook for children was also produced (An Ebook of the textbook will be uploaded soon). Various lessons have been chosen in the Multimedia CD and Textbook such as Bhojpuri Numbers, Bhojpuri Words, Bhojpuri Rhymes and Songs and Bhojpuri Stories. Morals based on Respect, Tolerance, Environment protection and such other morals have been promptly chosen to make our future generation responsible citizens. Bhojpuri language also takes us down memory lane where Indian immigrants came to Mauritius and their language of contact was mainly Bhojpuri and till now Bhojpuri language is alive in Mauritius and various parts of the world. Today, through this Multimedia CD and Textbook in Bhojpuri language, we feel proud for having paid hommage to those hardworking Indian Immigrants. Today, Bhojpuri needs to adopt ICT and ICT needs to adopt Bhojpuri fully due to its richness and also Devanagri Script (As you speak so you write). Who said that Hindi and Bhojpuri cannot adopt ICT ??? NO ANSWER !!! These pedagogical materials in the form of Interactive Multimedia CD and textbook are unique endeavours to propagate Bhojpuri language via ICT to the whole world. !!

‘Mobile ne Mujhse Mera Betaa Cheen Liya (मोबाइल ने मुझसे मेरा बेटा छीन लिया)’ is a Hindi poem with a bundle of emotions such as happiness and sadness in regard to neglected old parents. Inspired with the various turbulences in life and those of many of my friends and acquaintances due to mobile, I have tried my best to relate the various ups and downs of an old man who suffers in the absence of his son where the latter does not even seem to realise that prayer to parents is equal to prayer to the Almighty. It also imparts a strong message behind that mobile or any electronic gadget can’t replace the love that parents have for their children. Nowadays, unfortunately, many old parents are sent to HOME just why because their children consider them as a burden. It is said that it is God who writes our Destiny and everything depends on our Karmas meaning action and respecting and serving our parents is equal to Good Karmas(Satkarma – सत्कर्म)
This animated story, खूंखार भेड़िया और चतुर खरगोश (Khoonkhaar bhediya aur Chatur Khargosh) is a very interesting Techno-Pedagogical material in view to promote Hindi language via ICT. Children will surely enjoy watching this story and learn new Hindi words via the subtitles provided. This video formed part of a Masters n Education Project which was provided to me for montage and animation by Rajswaree Devi Jhurry who was following the course. A Big round of applause for her for this laudable project. I wish to thanks Dr Geerjanandsing Bissessur, Head, School of Mauritian Studies, Mahatma Gandhi Institute and Dr Anjali Chintamunnee, Senior Lecturer @ Mahatma Gandhi Institute, for the voice over. Bhojpuri language has survived and is still breathing healthily thanks to the ocean of Intangible cultural heritage it carries with it.
Today, people have been talking about the decline of this ancestral language but this is not the case as such. In fact, in Mauritius, Bhojpuri is used in various instances be it in villages, shops, offices, parliament, schools, hospitals, administrative cadre, amongst others. People feel at ease while talking or keeping in contact with colleagues, family, officers, even ministers. Many people even believe that through this language itself they have paved their path to success in life. Bhojpuri language strengthens the bond or relationship among Mauritians and together we cater towards the progress of this country culturally, socially, politically.....
Through Bhojpuri language itself, Mauritius is a lieu of rich Indian Diaspora. The Bhojpuri 'Geet Gawaai' has been included in UNESCO as a rich intangible heritage. This is of course a question of pride for all Mauritians. Talking of Bhojpuri 'Geet Gawaai', this is a folkloric song and dance as we may say performed by the elders of our society during marriage ceremonies especially on Friday night whilst performing several rituals for the well benefit of the bride or bridegroom. With Chimta, Dholak, Manjeera, amongst other musical instruments, an atmosphere of happiness prevails which is unique amongst the cultures around the world.
Today, there is a Bhojpuri Channel (Channel 8) on our national broadcasting corporation (Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation). Indeed, this is a big achievement for all those Bhojpuri language lovers. Programmes such as 'IT GURU' (which has been hosted by me) dealing with the latest technologies such as Office 365, Skype, Whattsapp, Internet technologies, computer maintenance, typing in HINDI/BHOJPURI Language, amongst other interesting programmes help not only the elders but also the forthcoming generations, the youth, to keep up-to-date with the latest technological trends. the speciality about this programme is that it is being presented in BHOJPURI language which is indeed a UNIQUE one. Amongst other interesting programmes are 'Kheti Baari', 'Chala Gaon Ghume', 'Khel Khilaari', 'Bol Bandhu', 'Naari Shakti', 'Rangarang', etc....
Today, in the educational sector, Bhojpuri has been introduced but not as a subject as a whole but rather as an optional one. In the NEW HINDI Primary textbooks of 2017 and onwards, several components of Bhojpuri such as Bhojpuri songs, Folk Songs, Ancestral Games, Bhojpuri animated 2D and 3D cartoons, etc....have been included so that children get exposed to this language and enjoy themselves through songs, poems, cartoons and at the same learning the words in Bhojpuri.
Bhojpuri is also a language whereby many Mauritian artists earn their living. Many Bhojpuri singers, composers, musicians, etc. are being encouraged by the government to promote the ancestral languages by producing popular albums. Songs such as 'Chak ChakaChak' by Rambha Ramtohul, 'Khaale Pile' by the late famous Gamat King 'Sona Noyan', 'Kaamkarwaa' by Kamaljeet Chintamunnee amongst other famous singers and their songs have really enlightened the future of Bhojpuri language. These songs are most popular during wedding ceremonies especially on Saturdays on the HALDI Vidhi day, parties, functions, etc.. And one thing to notice is that people especially youngsters dance mostly on the Bhojpuri songs...A new era in Bhojpuri songs has been brought by the famous Bhojpuri SInger, Kamaljeet Chintamunnee, with his hit song 'Kaamkarwa'. This song has been given a taste of Hip Hop and RNB but the lyrics are in Bhojpuri. This song has really eradicated the taboo in people's mind that Bhojpuri is just the language of elders.
The future of Bhojpuri seems to be bright but more youngsters need to be encouraged to adopt this language. Knowledge about the words and the grammatical structure of this language starts by talking with elders such as our Grandfather, Grandmothers (Nana, Nani) or simply elders who have this rich treasure which they are willing to transfer to the younger generation. And also we have course offered by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute. Senior lecturers who have years of experience in teaching of Bhojpuri, are imparting Bhojpuri to the younger generation. Some common names include (1) Dr Arvind Bissessur, who has an immense contribution in the preservation and promotion of this language in Mauritius, (2) Dr Kumarduth Goodary, who has also contributed immensely (3) Mr Jayganesh Dawosing, who has immensely contributed also , amongst others. I myself, BINDA Vivek, I have contributed in the promotion of this language through ICT with the production of cartoons, videos, textbooks, etc....We can't forget many Mauritian writers and social workers and associations who have contributed immensely for which Bhojpuri language stands today.

It shows a boy who does not know the importance of preserving the nature until and unless his grandmother explains him about the importance of protecting our environment through a short story. एगो जंगल रहल । उ जंगल में बहुते जनावर रह तहल। जंगल में एगो सिंह रहल । ऊ त रहल जंगल के राजा। एक दिन सिंह एगो शिकारी के जाल में फँस जाला। ऊ जाल से निकले के बहुते कोशिश करेला। बकिर ऊ नँय सकेला निकले। अपन प्राण बचावे खातिर ऊ जोर-जोर से दहाड़े ला। [ सिंह जाल में ] सिंह – 'बचावऽ स ! बचावऽ स हमरा ! इ जाल से निकालऽ स हमरा !' एगो बकरी उधर से गुजरऽ तहल। ऊ बकरी से विनती करेला :- [ सिंह जाल में / बकरी ] सिंह – 'ए बकरी बहिन, इ जाल से निकालऽ हमरा !' बकरी जवाब देलक :- बकरी – 'बाप रे बाप ! बाप रे बाप ! नँय ! नँय ! नँय सिंह राजा ! तूँ खा जयबऽ हमरा !' बकरी डरते-डरते हउजा से भाग जा ला। तब एगो बानदर उधर से कूदते-कूदते आवे ला। सिंह बानदर के बोलेला :- [ सिंह जाल में / बानदर ] सिंह - 'ए बानदर भइया ! हमरा निकालऽ इ जाल से !' बानदर जवाब देलक :- बानदर – 'नँय सिंह राजा ! तूँ हौजे ठीक हवऽ !' बानदर मुँह बिरा के कूदते-कूदते हउजा से भाग जा ला। तब एगो चूहा अपन बिल से निकलके आवेला। ऊ सिंह के बोलेला :- [ सिंह जाल में / चूहा ] चूहा – 'ए सिंह राजा ! इ जाल से तोहरा निकालब ! बकिर तूँ हमरा नँय खययऽ !' सिंह – 'चूहा मामू ! तूँ बहुत छोटा हवऽ ! कैसे निकलबऽ इ जाल से हमरा ?' सिंह के बोली चूहा मामू के तनको नँय अच्छा लगल ! ऊ न आव देखलक न ताव, झट से जाल काट देलक। सिंह जाल से तुरन्ते बाहर निकलेला। ऊ बहुते खुसी हो जा ला औरु बोलेला :- [ सिंह जाल के बाहर / चूहा ] सिंह – 'चूहा मामू ! छोटा समझ ली हम तोहरा ! पर तूँ ही प्राण बचयलऽ आज हमर !' उ दिन से दुन्नों निमन संघतिया बन जालन जा। इही खातिर बोलल जाला :-

दूगो बच्चा रहल | एगो के नाम रहल सनी एगो के मनी | तीनों एगो तालाब किनारे रहत रलन
स | मनी निमन रहल | उ अपन माँ के बात सुने | सनी ढीठ रहल | उ माँ के बात नय सुने |
दूर तालाब में कमल के
सुन्दर-सुन्दर फूल खिलल रहल | कोनों लाल त कोनों नीला | तीनों हंस उ कमल के देखके
बहुत खुशी होत रहलन स | मनी औरु सनी कमल के फूल लेवे चाहत रहलन स |
मनी - “ए सनी ! हम ललका कमल लेब |”
सनी –
“नीलका कमल हमर ह |”
(दुन्नों कमल तुड़े जा लन स)
माँ - “ए
लैका लोग ! उ कमल के भीरी नय जय्यऽ स | हुँवाँ जान के खतरा बा |”
दुन्नों लैका माँ के
बात सुनलन स | उ लोग हुँवाँ नय गयलन स | बकिर सनी के मन नय मनलक |
दूसर दिन सनी
लुकयते-लुकयते कमल के भीरी गल | एगो बहेलिया त इही ताक में रहल | उ झट से सनी के
गर्दन पकड़ लेलक | सनी त लगल छटपटाय | बहेलिया खुशी के मारे लगल हँसे – “हा ! हा ! हा ! ...” सनी के जान छुटल

गर्दन छोड़ दे लक | उ लगल भागे |
तीनों हंस खुसी-खुसी
अपन घर लौट जालन स | इ घटना के बाद सनी भी अपन माँ के बात सुने लगल |
इही खातिर बोलल जा ला
बड़ा लोग के बात हमेशा चाही सुनेके |
